By attending the classes and following the exercises the children learn about the routines followed of how to ‘chill out’ for their own wellbeing. They learn skills that will carry them through life’s ups and downs. Learning to relax is a skill that needs to be learned, takes time and most importantly is an ongoing practise that is an essential part of our wellbeing.
Some of the skills kids learn are:
- Simple visualisations
- Breathing exercises
- Gentle movement
- Stretching
- Meditation
- Recognising emotions
- Creating positive self talk





The children learn about positive thinking and enjoy fun group activities and discussion.
The children are given their own journals to keep a record of their drawings and activities.
